The Millville Woman’s Club enjoys spreading cheer during the holidays and had an annual Cookie and Candy Project during which members prepare cookies and candy to be distributed to senior citizens residing in Millville Senior Housing. This year, the treats were packaged canisters of cookies and candies rather than the usual homemade baked goods. Club members were generous and the contributions were plentiful. Volunteers made up 160 bags of “Sweets for Seniors.” These were donated to the Millville Housing Authority on December 14, and given to residents in Senior Housing. Giving some cheer brings cheer to the Woman’s Club.
