Remembrance Ceremony: Never, Will the American People Forget

The City of Millville, as it has always done since the attack of terrorism on September 11, 2001, will remember the victims with a ceremony “Never, Will The American People Forget.”

The ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 in the morning, at Millville’s Riverfront Park at Buck and Main streets, on Saturday September 11, 2021. Organizers have scheduled the 20th Anniversary Ceremony in the morning to align with the events of 9/11.

The ceremony will feature a reading of the names of firefighters, EMS and police personnel who gave their lives. A piece of beam from the towers, shown above, will be on display, courtesy of the Millville Army Airfield Museum. Also, there will be photos of 9/11 on display from the Charles Manning Collection.

For more information on the ceremony, contact the Recreation Department at 856-825-7000, ext. 7392.
