Minerva Alvarado and Ray Cronk, co-chairs of The Salvation Army Vineland Corps’ Annual Holiday Turkey Drive, invite the public to visit any one of the participating collection points for this fundraiser. The goal of this ministry is to help every family who would otherwise not be able to buy a turkey and the food for a special meal with their loved ones. Last year, this ministry assisted 1,459 food-compromised local families.
Food donations will be accepted (frozen turkeys, hams, box or canned dry food to make side dishes or grocery store gift cards). They are unable to accept perishable food, but if you would like to send a monetary donation, please write your check to “The Salvation Army Vineland Corps” and mail it to The Salvation Army Vineland Corps, P. O. Box 354, Vineland, NJ 08362. Write “Turkey Drive” on the memo line of your check to ensure your donation is allocated to the Holiday Turkey Drive for local families in need.
