Family Fitness in the Park

Turn off that TV, put the candy bars down, lace up your shoes and get ready to get in shape. Millville Recreation and the Holly City Family Center are continuing their partnership to get you fit. It doesn’t matter what shape you’re in, we will have an exercise program to suit your needs, and best of all, all programs are free and open to the public.

Yoga will take place on, Thursday, May 13, and again on May 27, June 10 and June 24. Instructed by Tina Medina-Hines and Janeika Brown, children and adults alike can take this stretching and strengthening workout. Yoga works on alignment of the spine and stimulates the abdominal organs, all of which result in better health.

But don’t sit down, more is being planned. Zumba will be held on Thursday, May 20, June 3, and June 17. Greg Horne will be the instructor and will lead the group in Latin dance and exercise.
