Woman’s Club Supports Emmanuel Cancer Foundation

This summer the Millville Woman’s Club (MWC) has been working to support Emmanuel Cancer Foundation (ECF), which is the Special State Project for the New Jersey State Federation of Woman’s Clubs (NJSFWC). For 30 years, ECF has been providing support for New Jersey families faced with pediatric cancer. Their services are focused on the entire family and day-to-day needs at home. In addition to in-home counseling, ECF assists with obtaining food, clothing, household supplies and providing advocacy and emergency financial relief as warranted. These services are ongoing and at no cost to the families thanks to their many volunteers, fundraisers and generous contributions.

With the school year about to start, MWC members donated 31 backpacks filled with lunch bags, pens, pencils, highlighters, erasers, tablets, coloring books, etc. along with many good wishes for the children being served by ECF.
