Millville Students Advance to State for Arts Accomplishments

Recently, Millville welcomed participants in the Cumberland & Cape May Counties Teen Arts Festival. This annual event invites middle and high school students from both counties to submit pieces and perform for formal adjudication, including 2D and 3D visual art, dance, film, creative writing, musical theater, theater, and musical performances. The emphasis of the event was not on competition, but on constructive critique, as well as a celebration of the achievements of our fine and performing arts programs.

Millville Public Schools is excited to share that several pieces and performances by Millville High School (MHS) and Lakeside Middle School (LMS) students were selected to advance to the state level.

In 2D Art:

  • “Rose” by Aliyona Smith (MHS)

In 3D Art:

For Large Group Vocal:

Congratulations to all the talented students from Lakeside Middle School and Millville High School who participated in the 2023 Teen Arts Festival! These students will be representing our community at the State Festival in May.
