A new Italian bakery and deli with strong Sicilian roots is opening soon in Camp Hill, Cumberland County.

Nicholas Faraone’s latest venture, Bella Sicilia Bakery & Deli, will open in February 2025 at 79 Erford Road.

This exciting addition will be located in a 1,385-square-foot space that used to be a T-Mobile store.

Although it will mostly serve as a grab-and-go spot, it will also include a cozy seating area for up to 12 guests.

This makes it perfect for people who want to quickly pick up their favorite treats or enjoy them in a relaxed setting.

The bakery and deli are a family-driven project, and the story behind them is just as special as the food.

Nicholas Faraone, who previously worked at La Bella Sicilia Bakery & Gelateria on Carlisle Pike, is leading the venture.

That original bakery closed in 2023, but Nicholas is bringing his love for authentic Italian food to this new location.

His mother, Ornella Russo, is also deeply involved.

Ornella has owned Millennium Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant in Dillsburg for 25 years, and she’s supporting Nicholas in turning his passion into reality.

Additionally, Nicholas’s father, Giampiero, who was a partner in the original La Bella Sicilia, is helping out with the new venture.

The whole family shares a deep love for Italian food and culture, which they’re excited to bring to the community.

When it comes to the menu, Bella Sicilia Bakery & Deli will offer a wide variety of sweet and savory options.

There will be handmade Italian pastries for dessert lovers, such as lobster tails, cannoli, Sette Veli cakes, macaroons, and tagliatelle.

Furthermore, they will have 12 gluten-free gelato flavors, including popular options like pistachio, tiramisu, chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, and Nutella.

These treats are sure to satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth, and they’re made to taste just like the ones you’d find in Italy.

On the savory side, the deli will feature a fantastic selection of sandwiches made with imported Italian meats and cheeses.

Guests can enjoy classic ingredients like prosciutto, mortadella, porchetta, burrata, and stracciatella.

In addition, the sandwiches will be served on freshly baked bread, including homemade focaccia and gluten-free options.

To make the flavors even better, spreads like pesto, red pepper, artichoke, and cream of pistachio will be available.

But say, you’re looking for something heartier, the menu will also include Sicilian specialties like arancine (crispy rice balls), sfincione (a traditional Sicilian pizza topped with anchovies, breadcrumbs, and sauce), and homemade lasagna.

Because of this incredible variety, Bella Sicilia Bakery & Deli is expected to attract new customers and fans of the original La Bella Sicilia.

According to Nicholas’s family, the bakery is designed to appeal to people who love authentic Italian flavors, including those with Sicilian heritage.

The family aims to make every customer feel like they’re experiencing a little piece of Italy.

Finally, Bella Sicilia will be open seven days a week, so customers can easily stop by whenever they’re craving something delicious.

If you want a quick scoop of creamy gelato, a freshly made sandwich, or a box of pastries to take home, this bakery and deli will have it all.

With its welcoming atmosphere, family-driven passion, and authentic Italian menu, Bella Sicilia Bakery & Deli will open in February 2025 and become a beloved destination in Cumberland County.
