Rutgers Master Gardeners of Cumberland County would like to welcome Lauren Fordyce to the Cooperative Extension Education Center on Morton Avenue in Deerfield. She will serve as the Home Horticulture Educator and the Master Gardener Coordinator.
Lauren has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania and has work experience on a small, organic fruit and vegetable farm and a hydroponic herb farm in South Jersey. Lauren has studied in Costa Rica for several months learning about sustainable development and agriculture in this region. As a result, she can speak Spanish at an intermediate level.
