Miss Cape Shores Outstanding Teen Alyssa Peacock, Miss Cape Shores Hannah Vendetta and Little Miss Vineland Morgan Williams received Certificates of Recognition from the Atlantic County Board of Commissioners and Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson for supporting local veterans. They were honored for planting flowers in several new flowerbeds at the Atlantic County Veteran’s Museum at the county park in Estell Manor. They spent several hours on a hot, humid afternoon in June planting about 15 flats of vinca and salvia. They then placed American flags among the flowers. Adam Whitcraft, assistant director of Atlantic County Parks and Recreation, presented the awards. The Museum houses thousands of items from veterans throughout South Jersey.

Lynn Kennedy-Brown, Alex Kaganzev and C&M Greenhouses donated the flowers. Hannah Vendetta was unavailable for the photo.
