Jersey Girls

African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey (AAHMSNJ ), Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, 661 Jackson Rd., Newtonville. The exhibit, organized by AAHMSNJ Founder and President Ralph E. Hunter, Sr., includes artwork by established and emerging artists in the local art community. Featured artists are Nastassia Davis, Kandice Fields, Jasmine Haines, Heather Deegan Hires, Randi Meekins, Glynnis Reed, Chanelle René, Sydnéi SmithJordan, Simone, and Hazel Levy Washington. Admission to the museum is free, donations welcome. Museum hours: Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday by appointment.
