BrightBloom Brings Specialized Autism Services to Millville
BrightBloom Centers, a provider of evidence-based therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and special needs, recently opened a new location in Millville at 10 E Main St, Suites F & G. The new center marks BrightBloom Centers’ second location in southern New Jersey, expanding access to specialized care for more children and families in the state. A community open house will be held on Friday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the new center, meet the BrightBloom team, and learn more about the autism services offered. Light refreshments will be served.
While the causes for autism are still unknown, numerous studies suggest that early diagnosis and intervention improve outcomes and increase the chances of an independent and fulfilling life. The gold standard for autism treatment is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which has been endorsed as a best practice treatment by the U.S. Surgeon General and the American Psychological Association. ABA uses the science of learning and behavior to enhance language and communication skills, social skills, academics and reduce problem behaviors.
The Millville center offers a comprehensive suite of autism services, including diagnostic evaluations, early intervention, home- and center-based ABA therapy, school-based support, and caregiver guidance. The state-of-the-art facility features a sensory room, natural environment space with indoor play equipment, an art room and themed rooms to promote independence.
“Access to ABA services continues to be a challenge for many families, and our new Millville location helps bridge that gap by bringing high-quality, specialized care closer to home,” says Diliana Henry, CEO of BrightBloom Centers. “This new center complements our Swedesboro location and strengthens our commitment to serving children and families throughout southern New Jersey.”
