SERVPRO of Cape May & Cumberland Counties is proud to announce their marketing coordinator, Minerva Alvarado, has been inducted as a member of the Board of Directors for the Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce. She starts her three-year term in January 2020.

“It’s a privilege to have Minerva serve on the board for the Bridgeton Chamber,” said SERVPRO co-owner, Barbara Jones. “Minerva has always shown an interest in the local business community and actively supports all of the chambers of commerce in Cumberland County. I think she will be a good asset to the Board.”

Alvarado currently serves on the Board of Directors for Gateway Community Action Partnership in Bridgeton, a non-profit serving seven counties in southern New Jersey. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Salvation Army Vineland Corps, and volunteers for the M25 Initiative – Cumberland County Code Blue.

Alvarado’s passion for volunteering stems from her parents who were both active in the Catholic Church and in the Vineland community. “Through my parents, I learned the importance of paying it forward and giving back to my community,” said Minerva. “I can’t always afford to donate money to non-profits, but I can donate my time and share my business and computer skills to help with humanitarian causes.”

Alvarado currently resides in Vineland and has been employed as a marketing coordinator with SERVPRO of Cape May & Cumberland Counties since 2015. She oversees marketing projects for franchises covering two counties in Southern New Jersey.
