The Cumberland Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol had two Outstanding 2022 cadets who received awards from Greenwich Tea Burning Chapter the Cumberland County, New Jersey chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution— Hayden Smith and Jebediah Eachus.

Cadet Smith is pictured here with Chapter Vice Regent Sarah Tarpine Smith who presented the Certificate of Award to C/TSgt Smith, who attends Cumberland County Technical School and has been a member of CAP since 2019. She is a team member of Cumberland’s Color Guard, is attending American Legion’s “Around the Horn Ceremony” and MSAFM Veterans Appreciation Celebration.

C/TSgt Eachus joined virtually in 2020, is homeschooled and very active in 4H, interested in aerospace and STEM. He was also honored with a DAR Award during the Thursday night squadron meeting held in the Henry E. Wyble Historic Research Library and Education Center at the Millville Army Air Field.
