Savannah Bananas Dancing Umpire to Visit Vineland for Family Event

State Senator Mike Testa, Jr., along with Assemblyman Antwan McClellan and Assemblyman Erik Simonsen, will welcome families and baseball fans alike to a special community event featuring Vincent Chapman, the “Dancing Umpire” from the viral sensation Savannah Bananas.

The Meet & Greet will take place on Friday, July 25 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the East Vineland Little League Field, located at 2500 Phillip Street in Vineland, NJ.

Chapman, known for his high-energy moves and showmanship behind the plate, has become a fan favorite and internet star thanks to his unique performances as part of the Savannah Bananas’ one-of-a-kind baseball experience. This family-friendly event offers South Jersey residents a chance to meet him in person, take photos, and enjoy some light-hearted summer fun.

Also making a special guest appearance is Mark Ediss, also known as “Shark on the Mic,” Vineland native and announcer/DJ for the Savannah Bananas.

“This is exactly the kind of event that makes South Jersey feel like home—fun, community-driven, and something for all ages,” said Senator Testa. “We’re thrilled to bring a little bit of the Savannah Bananas magic right here to Vineland.”

“This is a great opportunity to bring the community together and celebrate what makes South Jersey special—our people, our energy, and our love of baseball,” said Assemblyman Erik Simonsen.

“There’s nothing better than seeing kids smile and families come together. That’s what this event is all about,” added Assemblyman Antwan McClellan.

The event is free and open to the public. Families, baseball fans, and all members of the community are encouraged to attend.
