TCC Verizon recently held a contest among staff to see which of its 16 regions across the country had the most sales for a month. The staff in the winning region would receive a financial gift, and they would select a nonprofit to receive a financial donation as well. NJ Tri-State Region, which includes southern Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, won the national contest. Their staff selected Project Thanksgiving to receive the $7,500 grand prize. The money will be used to assist veterans and families-in-need within the South Jersey area.
