Two candidates for mayor and six candidates for five city council seats will appear on the ballot for the Tuesday, November 5 non-partisan municipal election in Vineland.
The ballot position drawing conducted by municipal clerk Keith Petrosky and his staff set the order of candidates as they will appear on the ballot:
Vineland’s form of government operates under New Jersey’s Optional Municipal Charter Law, commonly called the Faulkner Act. Vineland utilizes the Mayor-Council Plan, with a mayor and five-council members all elected at-large to four-year concurrent terms of office. The municipal elections are non-partisan. Successful candidates will take office on January 1, 2025 for a four-year term.
Residents are reminded that the deadline to register to vote is Tuesday, October 15. Registered voters may apply for a mail-in ballot by Tuesday, October 29. In-person early voting begins Sunday, October 26 at the PAL building, 20 S. Sixth Street, and concludes on Sunday, November 3.
