1229 Front St., Mauricetown. 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Admission is free! Celebrate the unique natural, cultural, and scenic resources of the Wild and Scenic Maurice River. The Cumberland County Cultural & Heritage Commission, the Mauricetown Historical Society, and CU Maurice River have partnered to offer live music, guided trail walks, speakers, historic village tours, fine arts and crafts, hands-on activities for kids, delicious food, and more. Artists will set up all around Mauricetown using the landscape as inspiration to create works of art. The visitor can even purchase their works! Outdoor educators will be leading walks at two nearby nature trails. All the while, a speaker series will be held inside the historic Mauricetown United Methodist Church, with speakers Deborah Boerner Ein, discussing the topic of her recent book about Vineland resident and naturalist Mary Treat; Mike Chiarappa; and CU Maurice River’s Executive Director Karla Rossini.
