Project Thanksgiving sponsored a $1,000 scholarship to a second-year college student in partnership with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties (BBBS). The recipient must have an affiliation with the military and BBBS of Cumberland & Salem Counties.

Alex Kaganzev and Angela Papadopoulos presented the first annual Project Thanksgiving’s Honoring Our Veterans Scholarship to James Fogg. He has relatives who enlisted in the military during WWII, and others who were drafted into the army during Vietnam. He is studying computer science and mathematics at Rowan University.

Education is a key element in securing a successful career. Thus, the scholarship will help him remain in college. Congratulations, James!
