City of Vineland officials held a swearing in ceremony in City Council chambers recently for new EMTs, as well as career and volunteer firefighters. Joining Mayor Fanucci for the ceremony were Fire Chief Luigi Tramontana, EMS Chief Kelly Soracco, Fire Captain Carlos Mercado, and family and friends.

“We are all grateful for your willingness and commitment to help others,” Mayor Fanucci said. “As a community we are lucky to have individuals of such quality and integrity as part of the Vineland emergency services team. Our Fire and EMS Departments, as well as our police professionals, have earned great reputations for the quality and compassionate service they provide. Congratulations to you all, and best of luck.”
