Vineland, Millville To Hold 9/11 Ceremonies

The City of Millville, as it has always done since the attack of terrorism on September 11, 2001, will remember the victims with a ceremony “Never, Will The American People Forget.” The ceremony is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Millville Fire Department located at 420 Buck Street, on Sunday, September 11.

The ceremony will feature a reading of prayers and songs performed by Madelyn Bratton, Miss Holly City 2022, SSGT Brianna Felice, Millville Women’s Club Chorus and Vincent Dilorenzo. There will be photos of 9/11 on display from the Charles Manning Collection and the ceremony will end with a Five Bells.

The City of Vineland Patriot Day Ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 11 on the steps of City Hall beginning at 11 a.m. Mayor Anthony Fanucci, Fire/EMS Director Richard Franchetta, Fire Chief Luigi Tramontana, and Fire Captain Carlos Mercado, Jr. are scheduled to deliver special remarks along with New Jersey retired Superior Court Judge Julio L. Mendez.

Alexandra Brodzik is scheduled to perform the National Anthem and Amazing Grace. Students from Bishop Schad Regional will lead the Pledge of Allegiance, and students form Dominick Pilla Middle School will perform God Bless America.

Members of the Vineland Police, Fire, and EMT departments will also participate in the ceremony.
