On December 18, 2020, Joseph E. Romano, president of the Vineland Elks #1422, presented a $1,500 donation to Matthew Milam, president of the Board for the Vineland Soup Kitchen. Funding comes from an Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant and a $500 donation from an Elks National Gratitude Grant. The mission of the Vineland Soup Kitchen is to provide meals to community members in need.

Romano also presented a $500 donation to both the Cumberland County Boys & Girls Club, and the Area 8 Special Olympics. These donations were made possible by monies obtained from the Elks National Foundation Gratitude Grant.
