Sweet Rewards: Culinary Arts Students Show Appreciation for Millville High Staff

The Millville HS Culinary program showed their appreciation to staff who have helped them in their high school career. As a conclusion to the semester, students were tasked with making and decorating six-inch cakes. Part of the lesson was explaining to the students the importance of giving back to people and about showing appreciation. By the students’ choice, 16 out of 24 cakes ewere delivered throughout the building to staff members. Students were asked to come up with teachers and faculty who have helped them through their high school journey. The students then took turns delivering them to the teachers in their classrooms. The teachers greatly appreciated being recognized. Every lesson in school is important; however, appreciating those around us is the biggest lesson of all.
