Rite Aid Patient Files Acquired by CVS

Vineland and surrounding area former Rite Aid patient files have been acquired by CVS Pharmacy. The acquisition of select Rite Aid assets nationwide was completed recently. CVS acquired the prescription files of 626 former Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs pharmacies in 15 states. As a result of the transactions, CVS Pharmacy is pleased to be serving more than nine million former Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs patients.

These Rite Aid pharmacies are part of the record acquisition: Millville 907 N. High St.. Vineland 1889 S. Lincoln Ave., and Vineland 970 N. Main Road.

CVS also purchased pharmacy assets from stores in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Vermont and Washington, the spokesperson said.

The company did not disclose how much it spent on the acquisitions.
