Project Thanksgiving’s 17th Annual Turkey Drive Kicks Off with Generous Donation

Project Thanksgiving’s 17th annual turkey drive got off to a resounding start with Franklin Bank’s $1,000 donation. Mark Edwards, president, presented the check to Alex Kaganzev, founder, and Angela Papadopoulos, director of events.
Project Thanksgiving is scheduled for Saturday, November 22. Numerous volunteers will be collecting monetary and food donations at various locations in Cumberland and Gloucester counties. Volunteers will include Clayton High School National Honor Society students, Vineland High School Junior AFROTC members, titleholders from the Miss America Organization including Miss New Jersey 2025 Belle Nicholas, and members of the St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church Philoptochos.
Project Thanksgiving is a nonprofit organization which provides assistance to local veterans, food banks and families-in-need throughout much of South Jersey. During the event, Bruce Land, a local veteran will be honored for his commitment and service to country and community.
