Get CLUE-d in on Third Friday, Mystery on High, October Art Crawl

Mystery on High, the October Art Crawl, and Third Friday gallery opening receptions will all collide on Friday, October 17. Downtown Millville is the place to find this eclectic mixup of art and free Halloween fun for the whole family. 

Enjoy balloon twisting, hair tinseling, henna tattooing, face painting, live music, psychic and tarot card readings, and a Halloween costume contest. Free activities will include ghost stories, pumpkin decorating, music—and a game of Clue.

Third Friday at Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts

Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts (RRCA), 22 N. High St., Millville. Third Friday at the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts is presented by PNC Arts Alive. Experience the art, meet the artists, enjoy refreshments. Art Reception is Friday, October 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. with live music by Trainwreck.

Main Gallery – Associate Artist Member Show II: This member show features the best of the best of SJ artists. All mediums will be represented; awards will be announced at the event. 

Witt Gallery – ‘MIX IT UP!” Mixed media is a fun way to create with different techniques and textures. Artists were asked to share art created with two or more mediums. 

Associate Artist Alcove: Jen Vitale watercolor and ink works on wood, and Joyce Hagen’s abstract fiber arts and featured with other fiber art décor. 

Atrium Gallery – Floral arrangements by the Countryside Garden Club, inspired by great artworks. 

RRCA will be participating in the City of Millville’s “Mystery on High” with a free fun make-and-take craft in the Witt Gallery, and the costume contest at 8 p.m. in the Main Gallery.

Artwalk – Visit DC Gallery (“Urban Waves” opening exhibit) with NJ based visual artists Jeff Feeny and Shayla Nolan. Meet both artists, listen to a live DJ set and enjoy light fare and refreshments. Also participating in the Artwalk: Village on High shops and the Arts & Innovation gallery. Pick up a map and get it stamped at three locations for a chance to win the monthly art prize!
