Parvin Cabins Modernized
During the winter, the cabins at Parvin State Park are closed. Important renovation work is going on currently. Following the major years-long renovation project, the maintenance team is adding more modern touches to ensure future campers enjoy more comfortable stays during the cabin season. Cabin reservations reopen April 1.
From April 1 to the Friday before Memorial Day and from the day after Labor Day through October 31, a minimum stay of two consecutive nights is required. From the Saturday before Memorial Day through Labor Day, cabins must be reserved for seven or 14 consecutive nights only.
Each cabin is equipped with a furnished living room, fireplace or wood-burning stove, two bedrooms accommodating four people, a kitchen with an electric stove and refrigerator, a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower, and electricity. An outdoor patio with a table and grill is also included. Note that linens, dishes, and cooking utensils are not provided.
Two of the 18 cabins are wheelchair accessible and can accommodate up to six people.
Pets are not permitted in the cabins.
The Jaggers Point campgrounds, however, are open in winter. Individual campsites do not have electric or water hookups. Winter campers should come prepared for cold overnight conditions.
You can make a reservation up to 11 months in advance online at the Camping.NJ.Gov website or by calling the Parvin State Park office at 856-358-8616.
