Do you own an unpreserved farm in New Jersey and have questions about preservation? The State Agriculture Development Committee (SADC) will host four information sessions, two in our region, in coordination with the Cumberland, Warren, Somerset, and Salem County Agriculture Development Boards. The meetings are open to any farmland owner in any county.
The SADC administers New Jersey’s Farmland Preservation Program, including Farm Preservation across the state, Right to Farm, Agricultural Mediation, and Agricultural Development grants to preserved farm owners and operators and has funding available to process applications for the Farmland Preservation Program.
Farm owners interested in learning about the application, selection, and preservation process are encouraged to attend one of these meetings:
• Cumberland County Regional Meeting: Wednesday, November 16, at 7 p.m, Cumberland County Admin. Building, 164 W. Broad St, Bridgeton.
• Salem County Regional Meeting: Thursday, November 3, at 7 p.m., Salem County Agricultural Complex, 51 Cheney Road, Woodstown.
Interested landowners may also contact the SADC directly at [email protected] or 609-913-6582
