The Millville Woman’s Club (MWC) June meeting featured a thank-you luncheon for its members. Officers and committee chairs were recognized and thanked for their work and dedication.
Diann Ewan, Patricia Moore, Barbara Morrow and Barara Scudder were congratulated for having their names placed on the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC) Order of the Lilly, the organization’s highest honor, in recognition of their ongoing services.
Congratulations also went to Linda Green, Daryl Ponder and Ursula Wodlinger as their names were added to NJSFWC State Honor Roll for their meritorious services.
Joan Fauver, incoming president of MWC, was the club’s Woman of the Year for her very active involvement in not only the MWC activities, but those of her church and other organizations in the community. Unfortunately, Joan could not be present.
Beth Oliver was the club’s Volunteer of the Year thanks to her participation in many of the club’s projects and all of her work organizing fundraisers.
Jane Christy, Adele Johnson, Nancy Kell and Myra Wightman were thanked for their services as active members of MWC for 45 years or more. Thanks went to all of the members for the services provided in the club and in the community.
