Donna Pio and Barbara Westog, of Millville Woman’s Club (MWC) Education Committee, presented scholarships to three graduating seniors from Millville High School recently. Novalee Bybel has worked with children in latchkey programs as well as summer camp and is currently working with Door Dash delivering orders of various types. In addition to her studies, Novalee has been an avid softball player. She will be attending Shippensburg University where she plans to study psychology and forensics. She’ll also continue playing softball. She received the Claudia Goodwin Memorial scholarship.
Tanazia Rodriguez has been very active in chorus, madrigals, playing her trombone in marching band and studying piano. She will be attending Rowan College of South Jersey then continuing studies at Rowan University in Glassboro. She plans to be a high school chorus director. Tanazia received the scholarship from the MWC Chorus.
Shameka Romelus has been in the AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) Program since she was in 6th grade. She has included dancing in her studies and has been named Dance Student of the Month. Shameka has been studying criminal law and law enforcement. She will be attending Brown University where she plans to study criminology and pursue her degree in law. She is the recipient of the annual MWC scholarship.
