Master Gunnery Sergeant Mike Schenk was presented with a certificate of appreciation from the Air Force Thunderbirds. Technical Sergeant Joshua Chin surprised Mike with the certificate in the ASVAB class on September 17.

ASVAB stands for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, which is a multiple-choice test that helps you identify which Army jobs (Military Occupational Specialties) would be best for you.

Technical Sergeant Chin said that they were asked to select a representative for this honor and Mike Schenck was the first person to come to mind. According to him, Mike’s support of the military and his students is unmistakable so he truly deserves to be recognized for this work.
