Meet Miss Juneteenth and Jr. Miss Juneteenth

Boys & Girls Club of Vineland members Makayla Murphy, left, and Laniyah Burris were named Miss Juneteenth and Jr. Miss Juneteenth, respectively at a recent Juneteenth: Celebrate Freedom event held at the Club’s teen center. The members also read some interesting passages about slavery and freedom at the event.
