Recently Mrs. Terry Kuhnreich, the Search for Conscience teacher at Vineland High for more than 10 years, received an award in honor of Sister Rose Thering from the NJ Commission on Holocaust Education. The award is in honor of the life work of Sister Rose in the area of education, specifically related to anti-semitism, the Holocaust/Genocide and prejudice reduction and in developing relationships between Jewish and nonJewish communities to better enhance and strengthen relationships with each other. According to Executive Director Lawrence Glaser, “Mrs. Kuhnreich’s efforts and personal humanity makes her an outstanding recipient of this award.”
