Little Miss Vineland Jaslene Candelaria attended My Sisters’ Kids bi-weekly meeting and handed out stuffed animals to children and adults who are mourning the loss of a friend or relative. She wanted to share a little joy with everyone during a difficult time.

My Sisters’ Kids is a local nonprofit that provides peer support for children and adults who are mourning the death of a loved one. To date, Jaslene has collected more than 200 new stuffed animals. She has also donated several dozen to veterans at the Vineland Veterans Memorial Home in appreciation for their service and plans on donating some to children and adults who are being treated for cancer at local hospitals.
