More than 220 participants were in attendance recently at Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in support of Inspira Foundation Cumberland/Salem’s 2019 Golf and Tennis Tournament. This year, the tournament raised more than $240,000 to help support the health and wellness of communities in Cumberland and Salem counties. All proceeds benefit Inspira Foundation Cumberland/Salem and the “Invest. Impact. Inspire.” capital campaign to transform health care services throughout southern New Jersey.

“We thank our generous and dedicated tournament participants, who help Inspira advance innovative projects and initiatives that address southern New Jersey’s greatest health care needs,” said Jessica Kowal, chief development officer of Inspira Health. “The funds we raise support Inspira’s leading-edge cancer program, growing residency program, and community health initiatives that address addiction, food insecurity, homelessness, health care access for underserved populations, and much more.”

Event sponsors include Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Gateway Community Action Partnership, Cerner, the Inspira Medical Staff of Bridgeton, Elmer, and Vineland, Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, Radiology Business Solutions, and Harmelin Media.

Inspira Foundation Cumberland/Salem is a fundraising entity of Inspira Health, a premier health care provider in southern New Jersey with hospitals in Vineland, Elmer, and Woodbury, health centers in Bridgeton, Glassboro, Mullica Hill, as well as a regional cancer center in Vineland.
