Enjoy the concert by Train Wreck, a very popular area band that includes rock ’n’ roll, country classics, blues and original songs. Train Wreck has been bringing its own special brand of live musical entertainment to various venues in the South Jersey area, regaling audiences with their vast collection of tunes.

There will be a dessert table and coffee station included in the admission price of $15 per person. Proceeds from this event help support art education programs for adults and children. Call 856-327-4500 for more information. *****

The Festival of Fine Craft at Wheaton Arts & Cultural Center, 1501 Glasstown Road, Millville, offers two days of an art and shopping experience for the entire family. This is the 21st year of the festival on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is a rain or shine event.

There will be 150+ juried artists & craftspeople displaying and selling their works, special artist demonstrations, hands-on family art activities, and a Beer & Wine Garden.

One of the biggest highlights of the event is the giant Glass Pumpkin Patch. Each year, the glassblowers at WheatonArts create fabulous pumpkins. All proceeds from the patch go to supporting arts educational programming at WheatonArts.

Additionally, enjoy the live music and a wide variety of food vendors. Tickets for the festival are $12 adults, $11 senior adults (62+), $7 students and children 5 and under are free. Tickets are good for both days. *****

There is so much great entertainment in the Glasstown Arts District that serves our communities. The Levoy Theatre, 126-130 N. High Street, has booked some terrific shows for your entertainment throughout October.

Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the most enduring pieces of American literature and will be brought to the stage by The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois on October 4, 5 and 6 with matinees and evening performances.

Candice Guardino stars in Italian Bred on October 12. It is a hilarious and heartwarming one-woman Theatrical Comedy based on true life events. The story is told through the eyes of a little girl growing up Italian on Staten Island, NY.

The world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will be in concert on Sunday, October 13, at 3 p.m. Celebrate the Big Band era with the unique jazz sound Glenn Miller brought to stages around the world in the 1930s and ’40s.
