79th Annual Obon Festival

Seabrook Buddhist Temple, 9 Northville Rd., Seabrook. 4–9 p.m. Taiko drumming performances, traditional Japanese folk dancing called Obon Odori (dance of joy), food, games, crafts and a meditation garden. Free admission and parking. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. The Seabrook Educational and Cultural Center will be open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and includes a rich history of Seabrook. 856-451-3422 or seabrookeducation.org.
