Motorcycle Rider Airlifted After Egg Harbor Township Crash on English Creek Avenue
On Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at approximately 1309 hours, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on English Creek Ave at the intersection with Glenn Ave. in the Cardiff section of Egg Harbor Township.
Initial investigation revealed a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling northbound on English Creek Ave. was struck by a Ford F250 pulling a landscape dump trailer, also traveling northbound, as the pickup truck made a left-hand turn onto Glenn Ave. Witnesses on scene reported observing the motorcycle attempting to pass several vehicles in the left southbound lane just prior to the crash. The rider of the motorcycle, who sustained life threatening injuries, is currently unidentified. A landing zone was set up by Egg Harbor Township Fire Dept at nearby Alder Ave. middle school and the rider was flown by NJSP Medivac to AtlantiCare City Division to be treated. The driver and passengers of the pickup truck were not injured during the incident.
This crash is being investigated by the Egg Harbor Township Police Dept. Traffic Safety Unit. English Creek Ave was shut down between Dogwood Ave and Boxwood Ave for approximately 4 hours while officers conducted the initial investigation. Egg Harbor Township EMS and AtlantiCare Paramedic units responded and treated the rider at the scene.
