Members of the Student Senate from Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) delivered lunch to frontline employees of the CompleteCare Vineland Health Campus, on June 10, in appreciation for their important work and dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working in collaboration with Unforgotten Haven, a nonprofit organization located in Blackwood, the students launched a social media campaign and met their fundraising goal in less than two weeks. Their efforts raised sufficient money to purchase 144 hoagies—enough to feed the entire staff of CompleteCare. The students’ good deed also supported a local business, Vineland’s Pizza Queen, with the purchase of the hoagies.

“The Student Senate chose CompleteCare because they not only provided coronavirus testing on both the Gloucester and Cumberland campuses, but they play a major role in serving our community,” said Marilou Weber, co-advisor to the RCSJ-Cumberland Student Senate.
