CEO Group to Present Two Lifetime Achievement Awards

On Saturday, June 21, the CEO Group will be hosting its annual gala at Eastlyn Golf Course and The Greenview Inn to honor the legacy of two exceptional community leaders and further the mission of the group. The Third Annual Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to Penny H. Sager-Rossi and Michael L. Testa, Sr.

Founded in 1996 by Francis J. Reilly, the CEO Group works to support local communities and assist with regional issues, holding up what their name stands for: community, education, and opportunity. The annual gala allows group and community members to gather and celebrate the accomplishments they have achieved throughout the year while recognizing two leaders who exemplify what the CEO Group aims to accomplish.

Penny H. Sager-Rossi is a Philanthropist at the Deborah F. Sager Memorial Fund, which she founded in 1978 in memory of her daughter, Debbie, who tragically lost her life at the age of 12. Penny has spent decades championing neonatal and pediatric healthcare in South Jersey, helping to raise over $1 million to support life-saving medical services for infants and children. Her dedication has led to national recognition, with the Inspira Vineland NICU recently earning a Gold Beacon Award for Excellence, a testament to the exceptional care made possible through Penny’s unwavering support.

“Penny is the type of person who will always go above and beyond for her community,” shared CEO Group President Robert A. Penza. “She puts everything into her work and is a strong leader who we are proud to recognize with this award.”

Michael L. Testa, Sr. is a Managing Partner at Testa Heck Testa & White, P.A. A Vineland native, Michael has fifty years of legal experience working as a certified civil trial and criminal trial attorney. He has been selected over ten times each for NJ Super Lawyers and Top Ten Lawyers and has served in many municipal and board positions throughout his career. He currently works as a solicitor for Buena Municipal Authorities Association, Deerfield Township, and Rowan College of South Jersey (formerly Cumberland County College). Testa has served on boards, including those for the Rehabilitation Hospital of South Jersey, Sun National Bank, and the Landis Theatre Foundation.

“Michael Testa Sr. continues a family tradition of providing excellent legal representation for clients while at the same time supporting numerous charities and programs in Cumberland County,” said Executive Director Louis N. Magazzu. “As a fellow attorney and friend, I am delighted that the CEO Board has chosen Michael for this well-deserved honor.”

The CEO Group gala will take place on Saturday, June 21st, at Eastlyn Golf Course and The Greenview Inn, located at 4049 Italia Ave., Vineland.

The event is in black-tie attire, and information on purchasing tickets will be made available shortly.
