Allen Associates Hires Brown and Trongone
Allen Associates, a provider of employee benefits, financial services, and accounting for businesses and public-sector organizations, has announced the hiring of Joanna Brown, SHRM-SCP, as employee benefits administrator and Tony Trongone as benefits consultant. These strategic personnel moves reflect the firm’s continued investment in client services, customized benefits strategies, and operational excellence.

Brown, a human resources and operations veteran with more than 20 years of experience, has a track record in benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. She led key initiatives in workforce development, HR technology implementation, and organizational streamlining. Brown holds multiple certifications, including SHRM-SCP, Six Sigma Process Improvement Specialist, Maxwell DISC Behavioral Analysis Trainer/Consultant, and is currently pursuing the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.

Trongone joins the firm following a distinguished 27-year career in public education, most recently as superintendent of Millville Public Schools and president of the New Jersey Association of School Administrators (NJASA). He is the current Commissioner for Military Connected Children and Executive Director of Great Schools of New Jersey and served as a trustee for the New Jersey Schools Insurance Group (NJSIG). Trongone’s background in school finance, operations, and leadership—along with his experience as a small business owner—adds valuable perspective to Allen Associates’ benefits consulting practice.
