Inspira Health Announces Availability of Flu Vaccine

Inspira Health has announced that it will be offering flu vaccine to the community and patients, beginning October 1, by walk-in or appointment at multiple distribution sites. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that individuals make plans to get vaccinated early in the fall, before flu season begins, and ideally no later than the end of October. Flu vaccination during the 2021-2022 season will help protect the public against preventable illness, as well as help alleviate the burden on the health care system already strained by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“At Inspira, the safety of our patients, staff and the community has, and will always be, our number one priority,” said Amy Mansue, president and CEO of Inspira Health. “This year’s flu season will coincide with the COVID-19 pandemic and the rising Delta variant, and we must take preventative measures and be proactive about our health and the health of our community. With an in-person school year upon us and some people returning to the office, the flu vaccine is an easy way to protect yourself and those around you.”
