The Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA has furthered expanded its current services to include its gym and weight room areas. The entire facility was closed due to the pandemic restrictions but has been reopening gradually over recent weeks. In addition to workouts, members may take advantage of prescheduled pool times, one-on-one trainer sessions, selected outdoor classes, and youth sports. Child Care will also be available very soon.
Current hours of the Member Service desk are 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
YMCA CEO George Steinbronn, Jr. said, “We are very pleased to be able to gradually broaden our available programs. We are making every effort to make sure that our members—old and new—plus our staff are comfortable and safe.” He added, “We are excited to be welcoming everyone back!”
Existing memberships were placed on hold when the Y shut down but can be reactivated now.
