Women’s Group to Award Primary Wage Earners, Seeks Applicants

The deadline is fast approaching to apply for the Soroptimist International of Cumberland County (SICC) Live Your Dream Award.

Women who reside in Cumberland County or Salem County, are the primary wage earners for their families, and seek financial assistance to go back to school can now apply online for Live Your Dream. Applications are currently online at https://apply.soroptimist.org. The deadline for submission is November 15. Live Your Dream Award recipients will be announced in May 2026.

The grant is a competitive cash award to help offset any costs associated with attaining higher education or additional skills and training. 

“Soroptimist International Live Your Dream Award, which is our major service project, has provided women who are primary wage earners for their families with a cash award to offset costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education or additional skills and training” stated Laura Hayes, President of Soroptimists International of Cumberland County.
