The Woman’s Club of Vineland will be collecting new or slightly worn shoes until December. This is for an organization called “Soles 4 Souls,” which sends them to countries where many people do not have shoes. Shoes protect their feet from parasites and other problems, and some are given to help create a living to support families in poor countries.
Norene Ritter, past president of the Woman’s Club of Vineland is heading up this project.
The Woman’s Club of Vineland is looking for women interested in helping the community with projects and would like to join other women with similar interests. If interested, come out to the next Business Meeting on October 14 at 6:30 p.m.
