Two New Events

by Marianne Lods, Executive Director, Millville Development Corporation
Two new events will begin in the next few weeks of this summer in the Glasstown Arts District!  On Saturday, June 24, “Made in Millville”—an event filled with artisans and crafters—will be hosted at the Village on High, 501 N. High Street.
Join the fun from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the courtyard and sidewalk at the Village. We will kick off the first day with eight crafters—An Octopus’s Garden, Blount’s Bling & Things, Color Street by Sue, Colorful Creations by Chrissy, Kraves by Karter, Sammy’s Sensationals, and Tamaralicious Designs
Made In Millville will also feature live music by Andy Dimacle. This event will be held through the summer every fourth Saturday of the month—July 22, August 26, and September 23. A few more artisans are joining in the future months.
If you get hungry, there are several great spots to enjoy lunch nearby. In the Village enjoy the vegan/vegetarian fare of Wildflower Vegan Café. Across the street you will find Bruni’s Burgers, Touch of Tom’s, Manny’s Pizza, and Great Wall of China. Go south to the post office block and check out Everything Classie Sweet Soulful Café and BJ Roaster. There is something delicious to satisfy everyone’s taste.
