Train to Be an Environmental Steward

The Rutgers Environmental Steward program. This program is designed to introduce non-scientists to the science behind important environmental issues affecting NJ. Stewards then give back to their own communities by helping to tackle local environmental problems. The program runs weekly on Tuesday evenings starting January 24 through May 16. This course is designed as a hybrid model with online live lectures, regional in-person sessions, field trips, and self-paced studies. Top notch local and regional experts introduce students to a different environmental topic each week. Program cost is $260.

Note: This course is designed for adults but is also open to students 16 and older who are passionate about the environment. Students under 18 require parental/guardian permission. For more details, visit envirostewards.rutgers.edu or call 609-272-6934 or email: [email protected].
