Main Gallery – “Kathy Anne English: Painting America.” For the first time, Kathy’s 50 paintings (see above) of 50 state parks will be shown in our main gallery. She is a self-taught watercolor artist and she thought of this painting journey when she was just 20 years old, as a project for later in her life and then she did accomplish it! Kathy and her husband spent four years, five cross-country journeys, while painting some of their favorite landscapes and wildlife in our 50 states. Through this journey of memories and art, Kathy hopes to encourage others to explore and embrace the amazing places in our country and to respect and protect our wildlife, our land and our people.” Also, as part of the exhibit is an artist’s info for each experience, and a video of her journey will be running during the exhibit.

Witt Gallery – “Cumberland County on Canvas” Cumberland County Cultural & Heritage Commission will make awards in the bi-annual open call for artists to enter scenes from around our county. Awards will be presented at 7 p.m. for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honorable mentions. The top three pieces receive cash rewards plus purchase of the art for the county’s art collection, displayed in county buildings.
