Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cumberland County is holding a Seed Saving Workshop on Thursday, October 10 at 10 a.m. for a cost of $3, payable at the door. The interactive workshop will be held at the Extension Education Center, 291 Morton Ave., Millville, NJ 08332.
The workshop will cover the importance of saving seeds and how to properly store seeds. Most of the seeds will be gathered from the Pollinator Garden at the Extension Education Center. Participants will take part in cleaning seeds and will have the chance to take the cleaned seeds home for planting in 2020.
