The Salvation Army of Vineland Helps More Than 350 Students with Back-to-School Carnival

The Salvation Army of Vineland turned back-to-school prep into a day of celebration, hosting a joyful community carnival for local families. Through the generous support of Bridor USA, more than 350 students received brand-new backpacks filled with essential school supplies.

The festivities included games, music, hot dogs, and sweet treats like cotton candy, making the day feel like a true celebration to kick off the school year. Children left not only with the tools they need for the classroom but also with memories of fun and encouragement for the year ahead.

For many families facing financial hardship, back-to-school season can be stressful and overwhelming. Events like this help ease that burden by ensuring students are equipped to learn and feel confident walking into school on the first day.

“We know how difficult it can be for parents to provide everything their children need for school,” said Major Isael Gonzalez of The Salvation Army Vineland Corps. “This event lightens that load, while also giving kids a moment of joy and celebration before the year begins. We are deeply grateful to Bridor USA for making it possible to provide every student with a new backpack.”
