Miss Vineland Marissa Marchese and Little Miss Vineland Jaslene Candelaria attended the Salute to our Veterans Car Cruise at the Vineland Memorial Home. They spent the day thanking veterans for their service and giving them stuffed animals.
Jaslene has collected several hundred new stuffed animals over the past several months. Her goal is to give them to people who have been diagnosed with cancer, to children who have lost a loved one, as well as to veterans. Marissa continues to support our local homeless individuals as well as our veterans. She is currently working on collecting new blankets for the homeless individuals in Vineland. They will be distributed by Spirit and Truth Ministries.
Marissa and Jaslene also began promoting Project Thanksgiving’s 11th annual turkey drive, scheduled for Saturday, November 23.
